The manufacture of hydrogen-producing equipment, for use as an optimizer in combustion processes, included in the patents, allowed ULTIMATE CELL®, and in a self-sustained manner, an advanced development of the production of H2 from Alkaline Electrolysis and Electrolysis by Protonic Membrane.
Today this allows to leverage, with high technical confidence, different nature of projects involving the production of Hydrogen, which are very necessary and strategic for energy management and transition, nowadays essential in any developed country policy.

HRS H2 Refueling Stations
Ongoing project to manufacture two containerized units to produce hydrogen to supply forklifts and logistics vehicles running on fuel cells (HRS – Hydrogen Refueling Stations) in the USA and for which a 99.999% purity level is required.
For this purpose, a container with category 3 hurricanes resistence structure is being developed, with a production capacity of 60Nm3 H2 per hour, in partnership with the leading provider of clean hydrogen and zero-emission fuel cell solutions, the American company, Plug Power. The estimated delivery time is October 2020.
The commercialization, after its customization, of 4 more 1MW UCHP® for HRS installations is at an advanced stage of negotiation.
Another project, also finalizing negotiations, consists of two UCHP® units with a production capacity of 200Nm3 H2 per hour (1MW) for application in Oil Refining (Oil Cracking).
P2G Power to Gas
Industrial H2 production from wind and photovoltaic Energy
We named the “Industrial H2 production from wind and photovoltaic energy” to the project that aims to achieve short / medium term revenues on the scale of the “can refuse”. This project of ours differs from all others by some parameters that will be introduced for the first time in this type of technology.
It has been demonstrated that P2G (Power to Gas) is a key area for decarbonization and increased flexibility to a country’s energy grid, as it has the potential to absorb electricity from renewable sources, in periods of surplus production, and transfer this energy for moments of high consumption, through the production and storage of green hydrogen.
Since the gas injected into the Natural Gas grid from renewable sources, the global emission of greenhouse gases will be zero.
A P2G process begins with the conversion of electricity to hydrogen, from electrolysis of water.
The generated hydrogen can be injected into the Natural Gas grid up to a percentage that varies from 2% to 15% of the volume.
In countries with a good Natural Gas grid, such as Portugal and many others in Europe, this type of application is highly feasible, as it allows the easy allocation of surplus renewable energy, retaining it in the Natural Gas transport and distribution grid, through its caloric enrichment.
